Hello, I’m Anna, and I made this bog to make people more aware about the difficulties Campaign Whale go through to protect marine animals.
Campaign Whale, is an organisation that help against cruelty to marine animals. I am focusing on their particular struggle in protecting dolphins in Japan. Every year, over 20,000 small whales, porpoises and dolphins are killed in Japan. The meat is sold to be eaten, although it is *“Tainted with toxic industrial pollutants such as mercury, DDTs and PCBs, all known to be hazardous to human health” The small marine animals are lured into a cove. The more intelligent looking ones are sent to sea parks to be in shows, the rest are killed.
Footage has been recorded of these happenings, and has been made into a movie called “The Cove” It is mainly about the area of Taiji, a town on the Japanese coast where around 2,300 dolphins are slaughtered every year. This takes place every year, in the months between September and March. It is so heavily guarded, and covered up by the Japanese government, that in order to get this footage, an undercover team had to secretly film the team with cameras disguised as rocks.
This will continue unless we do something about it, i hope you have learnt something, and tell people about this scandal, so we can stop it together. Please help by answering the next few questions, and please leave me your feedback

I had never even imagined that anyone could kill dolphins or whales or poiporses! It's really horrid. I had never heard of 'the cove' before I has read this blog, I think you did really well to get the message across through this blog!!
