We should Save Scotts Meadow together!
Thank you very much for showing an interest in our Blog! Scotts Meadow is located in Torquay on Riviera Way, next to 'The Willows'. Torbay Council wants to build 230 homes on this meadow, and we are advocating against it. Saving 'Scotts Meadow' is an issue we feel very strongly about. We believe that many people do not know about the many wonderful benefits of keeping Scotts Meadow as it is. When you've read our blog, we hope that you will come around to our way of thinking and support our advocac
We think we should all save Scotts Meadow because:
• It is a good place to spend time with your family, or to walk your dogs.
• If we build houses on Scotts Meadow it will be bad for the environment.
• There is not much green space around 'The Willows', so it is vital that we protect what little there is, such as Scotts Meadow.
• Scotts Meadow has been a part of many people's lives for many years, and so if people have enjoyed it before now, they will enjoy it for years to come.
• We need to protect the meadow to enhance its value as a wildlife site.
Thank you so much again for reading our blog. Please do now post a response with your thoughts. In particular it would be great if you could write just a few words in answer to the following questions and help in any way you feel you can. For further details, you can look at Scotts Meadow Project Group. Please help us to Save Scotts Meadow!
* Had you heard about our issue before reading our blog?
* Do you feel more informed about the issue of building on Scotts Meadow?

* Join the Scotts Meadow Project Group and support their work?
* Participate in any of our fundraising work?
* Tell your friends and family about our issue and try to persuade them to do any of the above things?
Thank you again for your time,
Alicia, Holly and Anna.
