Thank you for visiting and showing intrest in my blog! GAAV (give animals a voice) is a pressure group formed by the RSPCA. This group is not very well known as its quite hard to find them. Animal circuses are happening all over the world. I hope that by reading this blog i'll be able to gain your support and you will view this matter differently.
Wild animals should be exactly that...wild. Making animals travel around in carrages and trucks to be put infront of an audience to entertain them, is taking the wild away from them. Performing tricks and stunts is not in their natural habitat and shouldn't have to be, it doesn't allow them to have any freedom and prevents them from happiness. Unfortunatly you can't train a wild animals like you can train a dog by giving them treats. Research shows that the cruel, nasty people train the animals by practically torturing them. Whipping, Caining, Chaining and starving these animals is what they do to make money and get the animals to perform.
You may be thinking 'I've never been to an animal circus before so this has nothing to do with me, why should I care?', well your wrong it has everything to do with you and you should care.
If these poor animals had a voice of their own what would they be saying? They would be pleeding to get out. As a community we need to stick and work together to help animals speak out for themselves and by supporting this group you can do exactly that. GAAV are campaigning to make it illegal to buy and sell wild animals to train and put in any form of circus. Just think, you can easily contribute to making this happen and all you have to do is visit http://www.giveanimalsavoice.org.uk/blog/ and add your voice.
