Make It up too the animals, not your Face!

Hello, my name is Lottie, firstly id like to thank you for taking an interest and looking at my blog on animal testing. Animal testing is a big issue all over Europe, and should be sorted out as it has outstayed its welcome here.

Right now millions of mice rats, rabbits, primates, cats, dogs, and other animals are locked inside cold barren cages in laboratories across the country. They languish in pain, ache with loneliness, and long to Rome free and use there minds. Instead all they can do is sit and wait in fear for the next terrifying and painful procedure that will be performed on them.  I am very strongly against this issue of animal testing, I own a dog myself, and knowing what its like to look after and adore a pet I feel how could those scientists hate them that much too test on them. All across Europe, an estimated 2.8 million animals a year are tested on and left with severe and harsh injuries, some lead to death. Many household products and cosmetics companies pump their products into animals' stomachs, rub them onto their skin, squirt them into their eyes, or force animals to inhale them as aerosol sprays. Over 375 companies still resort too the harshness of animal testing to test their cheap products. 

The Organization I have chosen for my advocacy is ‘BUAV’ its stands for the British abolition of vivisection to animals. They visit European laboratories, started and successfully won 8 campaigns, created petitions, a fascinating but truthful website which you can visit at www.buav.org/. They've been on many undercover missions across Europe in scientist’s labs, tricking them, and then at last minute they publicize the news, and the lab gets shut down. A lot of products like mouthwash and aerosols sold from Superdrug and marks and Spencers etc. have the rabbit symbol saying ‘BUAV' approved. Buying these approved products really helps out this worthy group. There are many ways YOU can get involved, just visit there website and sign their petition, lobby your MP as followed instructions on the website, or donate some generosity and kindly accepted money too what I believe and hopefully you will now see a wonderful organization. They are completely voluntary and need all the help as possible. 

Melon's Story: A This rabbit is called Melon, he arrived at Wickham on 15th June 2009.He was to be used in the pyrogenicity tests but on 25th August his left ear was badly bruised when a member of staff was unable to inject him with a substance. After a few days, it was decided that his damaged ear was not suitable for pyrogen tests. Thus, no longer serving a purpose at Wickham, he was killed by a lethal injection on 8th September. His body was put into a bin liner and placed in the freezer. Another young life ended.
