Dyslexia Distress - Does It Need To Be This Way?

Thank you for taking interest in my blog! My name is Chelsey and I’m trying to raise awareness about people with dyslexia and how other people can help make their lives slightly easier! Very few people know the signs of Dyslexia and this is what Dyslexia Action wants to change. Once you’ve read my blog, I wish that you will know a fragment more about the problems faced by millions of people around the world face every day.

Dyslexia Action helps thousands of people all over the country to overcome many of the barriers that dyslexia sometimes presents as. They aid people by one to one help in subjects and they also help adults and parents of children with Dyslexia. Some of the problems people face with dyslexia are; spelling, jumbled thoughts, slow reader etc. It doesn’t matter how much money you give because all of it goes towards supplies and running the centres. Dyslexia Actions doesn’t just help people with Dyslexia, they also help parents of children with Dyslexia find ways to aid them reach their full potential.

All around the UK 1 in 5 children are excluded from the classroom due to a reading difficulty and this has to change, if more people knew about Dyslexia and what the signs are then these figures could be decreased. If we don’t get the word out about Dyslexia then in a decades time very devastating about of people will know about Dyslexia and an extremely limited amount of people will be able to help.
Thank you again for reading my blog. Please can you post a response answering the questions below Additional information about Dyslexia Action can be found at http://www.dyslexiaaction.org.uk/ Please support children and adults all over the UK with Dyslexia and help them reach their full potential. If you do post a response, please can you tell me where you come from i.e. home town and country (if not UK).
