Stop the suffering- Support Actionaid NOW

Thank you so much for showing an interest in my blog! I’m Lydia and trying to help people in poverty is something I feel very strongly about. A lot of people know about poverty in the world so many people don’t know how much damage that it can do, Actionaid knows this and tries in so many ways to help end poverty forever. When you have read my blog I hope you feel a bit more informed about the problems faced by those in poverty and feel you want to help.

Actionaid does not just give short term fixes but plans and builds. They work to eliminate disease, provide

Here is Maren’s story. Maren is 3 years old, her family struggle daily as the droughts leave them without food, quite often Maren goes days without anything to eat and the only water that they can find is so filthy and full of bacteria it could mean death. Maren’s parents are living with such bad feelings because they cannot provide for their family- but in Africa this is commonplace, they say 8 children per minute an average die in these poverty stricken areas. But 50p a day could change this for Maren’s family and others like them.

If you could help Maren would you? Would you give just 50p a day to save her life? Just 50p, that’s all it could take, to give a child like Maren food in times when crops are failing because of the droughts, supply clean water and a chance for Maren to go to school and to have a future, a life and a childhood. If you sponsor a child then not only are you helping one individual or one family- but helping whole communities to build a life for the future.

Thank you so much again for reading my blog. Please post a response with your thoughts. It would be great if you could write just a few words to answer the questions below- and try to help in any way you can. Further details can be found on this website http://www.actionaid.org.uk. Please, support Actionaid- it’s the difference between life and death.

food to stop starvation and education for the future generations to come in the hope they will never see the hardships their predecessors suffered. Making a brighter, healthier, longer life for all and helping others help themselves.
