Stop Strays in London Support Battersea Dogs and Cats Home

My name is Sarah and I would firstly like to thank you for taking your time to read my Blog. I would like to raise awareness of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in London as they do a great job in caring for the unwanted animals of Brittan and re home them. This issue affects those mainly in London but it would be great to see interest from other places in Britain.

Battersea care for and re-home animals that have been neglected, are strays or simply can’t be looked after anymore by their owners. Thanks to Battersea, numbers of strays will hopefully lower, decreasing the amount of cats and dogs which search through bins trying to find food.

I think it is important that we support Battersea because if an animal related problem were to start in the UK, it would probably start in London. So if Battersea were not there, think of all the animals that would be in danger. Also, if our streets are full of stray animals, biting could become a problem which would therefore decrease the numbers of tourists in the UK. Local areas could become less attractive if animals have been searching through bins for a decent meal.

Thank you for reading my blog. If you could comment the answers to these questions I would be very grateful.

  1. Would you now be prepared to donate to Battersea?
  2. Would you now be willing take part in a fund raising event or challenge such as a run, trek or even a sky dive? (See website for more ways to raise money.)
  3. Will you now tell friends and family about Battersea?
Finally, if you could please include where you live that would be very helpful (please include your home town and country).Thank you again for your time!
Sarah
