Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome – The RSPCA

Thank you very much for showing an interest in my Blog. I am Ame and trying to prevent many animals from being abused by their owners is something that I feel very strongly about! Not many people know that this is a serious crime and you can be jailed for abusing an animal in any way. Once you have read my blog I hope you will know a bit more about the abuse that innocent animals get.

Here is a story about a young puppy that was almost killed on the roadside.  On New Year’s Eve of 2012 at 3 pm a driver in a car saw a black bin bag being thrown out of the window of a moving land rover. The bag hit the car behind the land rover and burst open on the roadside. The driver stopped and went to see what the bag contained and there he found 2 puppies.  At this time one of the puppies was dead and the other was suffering from prolapse. Thankfully the puppy survived and was thought to be 8 – 10 weeks old. After the support of the RSPCA, the puppy has been treated and was shortly after the puppy was rehomed.

This puppy’s life was saved by the RSPCA. Just the smallest amount of money can save an animal’s life. The RSPCA have saved so many lives of abused animals, however they need more funds to continue the job they do.

Thank you again for reading my blog. Please do now post me a response containing your thoughts.  It would be great if you could write just a few words in answer to the following questions. Further details of all the ideas listed below can be found on the RSPCA website -  http://www.rspca.org.uk/home. Please give to save abused animals.

Please take a moment to answer the following questions.

Ø  Have you heard the problems that some animals/ pets had faced before?

Ø  Do you now feel more informed about the issues faced by animals that have been abused?

Ø  Would you be prepared to do any of the following to help the RSPCA save the lives of badly hurt animals …

1.     Make a donation to the RSPCA?

2.    Start or join a fundraising event. For example skydiving, hiking and running?

3.    Buy some merchandise from RSPCA. For example bags, mugs and cards?

4.    Volunteer at an RSPCA base?

5.    Tell family and friends about the RSPCA and try and persuade them to help out in any of the ways above?

If you do post a response, please can you tell me where you come from i.e. your home town and country (if not the UK!)

Many Thanks

Ame
