The Donkey Sanctuary - Working worldwide…to help owners, to help their donkeys, to help their owners...

Thank you for opening my blog about the Donkey Sanctuary; I am Freya and I am  raising awareness about the      Donkey Sanctuary helping donkeys and their owners in undeveloped parts of the world.
Donkeys all over the world are ill treated and injured often due to the lack of knowledge of their owners; the Donkey Sanctuary teams can see up to 1,000 donkeys a day in their veterinary clinics ensuring that these donkeys can continue to work for their families, but cannot help even half these donkeys without support and donations.

You may have thought that the Donkey Sanctuary only supported ill treated donkeys in the UK, however I hope now you realise that their efforts are much wider, have a significant impact on both donkeys and their owners’ livelihood and wellbeing worldwide and that this cannot be achieved without donations from Donkey Sanctuary supporters.

If you did not know these facts about the Donkey Sanctuary please log onto the Donkey Sanctuary website - http://www.thedonkeysanctuary.org.uk/overseas  to find out more!

  • Donkeys are suffering unnecessarily
  • The owners do not know how to look after them
  • Millions of the world’s poorest people rely on donkeys for their basic necessities of life
  • The Sanctuary provides treatment to all donkeys free of charge
  • The Sanctuary provides education and training about donkeys to donkey owners

Donkeys suffer through injuries, lameness, harness wounds, sores, disease and neglect…… a donkey’s life at risk.
The poorest people rely on donkeys …… people’s lives are at risk.

Your support will help continue the vital work of the Donkey Sanctuary that improves the lives of donkeys and people alike, and make you a part of donkey related projects across the undeveloped parts of the world.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, please could you say what you thought of my blog and respond answering these four simple questions:

  • Had you heard of the Donkey Sanctuary working worldwide before reading my blog? Do you now feel more informed about this issue?
  • Would you now support my campaign to the Donkey Sanctuary or make a donation towards the Donkey Sanctuary working worldwide? Would you now tell your family and friends about this issue and try to persuade them to join this cause?
  • Would you now be prepared to donate to the donkey sanctuary to help donkeys abroad? Have I changed your attitude, opinion, behavior or policy about the Donkey Sanctuary working worldwide and if so how?

Please could you also tell me your hometown and country. Thank you again for taking the time to answer these questions and I hope now you are more informed about what the Donkey Sanctuary does worldwide.
Freya
