Hi my name is Hannah. Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my blog. My chosen theme for this blog is education in Zambia. The charity I have selected that supports this is Edu sport. I want to increase peoples understanding of what this charity does and aims to do in the future. I think you should support my cause because:
  • They do lots of vital work in communities such as yours helping disadvantaged young adults
  • Friends of Edu Sport are dedicated to helping you
  • Imagine if you were in a situation where you needed help. Would you want people to help Edu Sport help you?
  • They need funds for the vital work they do and you could help them with it
  • Without you Edu Sport will not be able to continue the vital work they do and thousands of young adults around Zambia and the UK will be left with no more options. People like Adogo…
When Adogo was 8 his father left his mother. About a week later his mother became very sick. She was diagnosed with HIV Aids. Because of this Adogo and his 11 year old sister had to leave school to look after their ill mother. Within weeks of leaving school his mother died. She was 25 years old. That’s where Edu Sport came in. Knowing that Adogo had always loved football they invited him to come to one of their training sessions. As soon as he got there he got stuck in straight away. Now 7 years in Adogo is still attending the sessions and is on the fast track to becoming a professional footballer.

Please now take a few minutes to watch this short clip about one of the projects that edu sport have been carrying out.

Once again thank you so much for talking an interest in my blog! Please now take the time to leave me a response in the comment space below. If you do respond please tell me your hometown so that I know where the comments are coming from. Please could you now answer these questions:

  • Had you heard about Edu Sport before reading this blog?
  • If not do you now feel more informed about this organisation
  • Would you consider signing up for the monthly newsletter?
  • Would you now consider doing any of the following things
  • Make a donation to the organisation?
  • Start campaigning for them/tell your family or friends about edu sport
Thank you so much for reading my blog

Hannah
