We should do our bit for wildlife in Devon!
Hi, my name is Georgina and thank you for reading my blog. By reading this I will hope to make and think about and maybe change your actions regarding the way you treat your environment. People need to be more aware of The Devon Wildlife Trust; it can, with your support make a big difference.
The Devon Wildlife Trust is a Pressure Group helps to save the environment in order to keep our wildlife safe, if we didn’t have wildlife where would we be? A healthy, natural environment is vital to all of us because the future generation would want the same advantages that we have but also the life we live is surrounded in beauty. The country side is full of wildlife and natural habitats. If the Devon Wildlife trust doesn’t act then industrial sites will build on fresh land. The animals will die. The Devon Wildlife help to change attitudes and raise awareness. With you we will gain support and get many people to help and volunteer. With support we can help make a change. The Devon Wildlife Trust have been currently working on otters, clearing rubbish from their rivers; to create a healthy environment. The Devon Wildlife Trust cleared the litter out and got the otters into the safe environment. They worked on many rivers ; The river tor and Torridge where the main ones! These rivers where mostly affected! In the process of cleaning several otters died because of the polluter. The Devon Wildlife Trust DOES make a difference.
We must do more to help the environment and the wildlife, you can help by going on their website, to involved; http://www.devonwildlifetrust.org/get-involved/
Thank you very much for reading my blog, and I know hope you will help to save your environment. I would be very grateful if you could please now answer these questions below and if possible add the closest town or area you live e.g. London
• Have I made you more aware of the work of The Devon Wildlife Trust?
• Do you now want to help the environment around your home and maybe even become a volunteer to help wildlife?
• Would you be prepared to tell your family and friends about the Devon Wildlife Trust or other people within your local area?
Georgina
