We should help the Dogs by supporting Dogs Trust!

Thank you very much for taking an interest in my blog on abandoned, homeless and mistreated dogs. I am raising the awareness of this issue that I feel very strongly about as the welfare of dogs and puppies is in jeopardy. There are many animals around the world being mistreated and abused and I am sure you would not think of dogs as one of them. The majority of dogs are kept in good environments and well loved and cared for, but as you may know many are abused, abandoned and bred in filthy cages for money. Dogs trust is a brilliant charity that cares so much about the well fare of dogs, they re-home them, give them the love and care they need and find them a loving and caring owner. Here is some information on dog’s trust you may want to know:

• Dogs trust is a registered charity, which means it solely depends on the generosity of the workers to carry out work and the public to help and donate.

• Dogs Trust runs annual international training conferences for dog welfare organisations across the world, from Australia to Peru.

• They will never put healthy dogs down and do all they can to find them a new loving and caring home to live.

• The Dogs Trust website tells you how to look after and care for a dog properly and keep them healthy and safe.

Another issue dogs trust is campaigning against is puppy farming. Puppy farming is a brutal and horrifying problem that needs to be stopped. Puppy farming is where dogs are bred and kept in small cages and not looked after properly and the conditions of the cages are disgusting and dirty. Here are some of the many horrifying facts on puppy farming:

• The mother dogs will be bred immediately after they have given birth with almost no time to recover.

• The farm dogs are deprived of any exercise and given them minimum food to keep them alive and able to breed.

• They are deprived of health care and many of the dogs will get diseases.

• Many of the puppies will die almost straight after being sold and most of them will be sold ill.

Suzie was one of the many dogs at Dog’s trust that was mistreated; her owner kicked her out because she was too old. But dogs trust took her in, looked after her and gave her the love she needed they even found her a new owner. Dogs Trust never put a healthy dog down and workers truly care about the happiness of their dogs. If you feel as strongly about this issue as me you can visit the Dogs trust website and either sponsor or even adopt one of the dogs at Dogs trust by clicking on this link

I think that you should care or even assist Dogs trust as they are a very significant charity in helping to keep all of the stray dogs of the streets and making sure they are looked after properly, even if you don’t like dogs you should still be interested in dogs trust as the number of abandoned dogs will increase and some may even be carrying diseases around the streets. Dogs trust will do all they can to stop this and get the dogs back on their feet and back to being healthy and happy.

I hope I have either changed your opinion about mistreated dogs or made you feel even more strongly about it as me, I would be very grateful if you could answer a few of these questions:

a) Had you have heard of dogs trust before you read my blog?
b) Have I now changed your opinion about mistreated dogs and why?
c) Would you be prepared to make a donation to the Dogs Trust foundation or tell your family and friends about them?
d) What is your home town/ country?
