Why we should help caringbridge.org?
Hi, we are Phoebe and Katie. Thank you for taking an interest in our blog. We are doing this blog to raise awareness on our pressure group. Have you heard of CaringBridge.org? Hopefully you will find out more by this blog.
CaringBridge.org is a free website which parents of ill children or ill people can update family and friends by writing little blogs about what is happening in their lives at the moment. It is an international website and many people use it every day. Their friends and family can also leave comments and donate money in tribute to a certain person. It is really helpful to many people because they can tell family and friends how things are going and any big news without having to ring or text everybody as many don’t have time to if the they are the hospital all the time or busy it is quick and easy.
How can you support us? You can support us by donating to the website as it is free for people to use but they have to pay to put it on the internet and said out posters and leaflets to raise awareness to people. You could also help by telling other people about the website and that helps to raises awareness about the website so then many others can use the website because then they can pass it on as well then many others can use it. Finally you could help by coming to events if some are hold to show your support and help fun raise.
In summary, we think you should help because:
• It helps many families- so mums and dads of ill children get support
• It helps people breakdown from stress, as they can get supportive comments from others.
• You may need Caringbridge later in life if you or a family member get ill
• It is a place where people can express their feelings
• That they need money to keep the website going as it is free for people to use
