We need more coaches for Torbay.Olympic.Gymnastics.Club

Firstly, I would just like to say thank-you for taking an interest in my blog. I hope that by the end of reading it you will feel as strongly as I do about it. I am trying to raise awareness of T.O.G.C (Torbay Olympic Gymnastics Club) and their need for coaches. You may have heard of it before but if you haven’t I hope you will once finished reading my blog.

I am trying to raise awareness of T.O.GC (Torbay Olympic Gymnastics Club) and their need for coaches. Without adults taking time to teach people the sport, there would be no club which is what they are in danger of at the moment. I will start of by explaining what type of thing T.O.G.C does and why they need help. T.O.G.C runs many activities including:

• Trampolining
• Cheerleading
• Judo and Martial Arts
• Pilates
• Yoga
• Aerobics
• Pre-school

They also do many themed events to raise money. For example they have Christmas and Easter events along with club competitions that anyone can take part in! All of these activities are good and raise money for the club; unfortunately, they don't get to keep that money, that money is used to pay wages. Not only are they in need of coaches, but they are slowly running out of money.

That leads me on to my next point. Even though they need coaches, they need the money to pay for those that are not willing to be voluntary. They need the money to pay for more coaches so you could donate to them. This would benefit the children already attending the club and those wanting to take part.

They have many children interested in the club, but not enough coaches. They do not have the money to pay for more coaches so are looking for people who are prepared to do voluntary work for the club. T.O.G.C are popular so have many people that attend, they actually have more than enough people. So much so, that there is a long waiting list of 150 people due to the lack of coaches, because those people don't  get the opportunity to take part in the sport that they want to.
